The "I just opened ..." Thread

Talk about what you got and opened in this thread;

Today I got two Championship tins, I gave one away to a friend. Mine had; Sonic Slap (I swear, I get so many of these) Slashing Claws, Spykor - Gold Machine (Good to have as a Drudge-Slap counter), Gran-Ite - Blue elemental (Shrug). Characters; Another Freaking Boomer, Maya and Regular Ky (In addition to the special Ky of course).

What have you opened lately?

(And I'll make a concerted effort to stay on topic this time.)

I opened 3 boosters last night and got a Gold Froztok... but I already had him

Having two isn't bad if you want to use him in a deck - it increases the likelyhood that you'll see him by the time you need him.

I just got a Harrier figure in the mail from ebay, $5 with shipping, I opened it up and its right leg Immediately fell off (I knew this though going in) I found a way to have him hold his Feather Sword that doesn't look stupid though so Woo.)

I'll probably hit Target again today to continue "Stalking" the price drops. Might get a Gold Bruticon Figure, maybe a Red Metanoid --- Or, some of those 3-D Figure/Card Figures I've seen. According to Mirth over on Drudgers Domain they come with Monster cards that have a Clear area where the Ability would be --- Very interesting idea being able to play new defence onto a card without losing existing ability text.

Ah. Good idea for a thread. I'll post next time I get a booster pack. (Something good anyways)

Oh and.. my Harrier and Bruticon's legs both fall off. And does anyone have a Warnet figure? Because I find that the left wing doesn't want to stay on. I thought that maybe I got a defective one.

I have Warnet but I haven't opened any of my figs yet. By the sounds of it, they're not the best built figs so I wouldn't be surprised if half of them had wonky wings

Overall, Not as awesome as I might have hoped for, I guess pulling a Super-Rare out of a power pack isn't common? Or can you not even get gold cards from Metacharged power packs?

I never thought of that. I guess it makes sense that the other 2 cards are random. I just found that all the animations that I found were the same so I figured the 2 other xdrives were standard.

You can get super rares from Metacharged. There are a few of them in the set. I currently only have Froztok Gold Elemental and Dynamic Lunge.

You need Cyonis-Green? Got any infinitas?

Opened a number of boosters. Of note Red Infinitas and Chemaster blue. First I've seen of both (as in, first Infinitas I've held, first Chemaster I've held.)

Oooh. Green Meta. I want three.

Oh,. I also got a Princes Diara as one of my "Rares" I really dislike how characters are considered "rare". I've gotten a Zane as one of my rares in a metacharged tin before too (in the bonus rare pack) talk about a let-down. I'm glad none of the characters are super rare (except the exclusive Ky).

I just pulled a Gold Magnox from a Metacharged booster pack! Now I only need Silverbaxx then I have all the Gold monsters from that set!

I didn't pull much of anything from my last two boosters. Few cards I didn't already have but nothing super special

Okay, I have trouble believing this but I just opened a Gold Pack from the first set and it had these rares;

1 Blue Infinitas (My first, and I've been wanting it)
1 Gravity Crush (4 cost, If this hits a character that was already damaged, an opponent loses <1>)

and...

1 SUPER RARE Blackhole

How does this even happen?

One of them must have been the "Collector Card" but why would a pack have two rares in it? Is this normal?
